My flights yesterday were great! I wasn't nervous at all. Maybe I'm getting used to flying -- or it could have been because my pastor was sitting across the aisle from Bloomington to Chicago :) Even the fire at O'Hare didn't scare me. As we were sitting on the ramp waiting for a plane to leave our gate, we saw large flames and black smoke by another runway. Not sure what it was, but they got it under control.
No problems getting around the airport in Montreal or thru Customs. I finally have a stamp in my passport! I'm looking forward to several more.
Eric got us platinum level hockey seats to see the Canadiens play against Winnebago last night. We had front row seats by the goal. I loved it! Lots of up close and personal action as players and pucks smashed into the plastic shield in front of us. I jumped and squealed with delight every time.
Today's Agenda:
I learned several new French words yesterday. I learned "hommes" after walking into the men's bathroom area at the Bell Centre. I missed the universal man and woman icon and was just following the crowd. Wrong crowd :( I've also learned "femmes" now.
It is snowing today. I'm getting dropped off at the mall. Then, we are touring Bombardier to see how the insides of a plane get assembled. A "green" plane is the term for the stage when it's just a shell without the seats, walls, etc.
Dinner tonight at a rustic French restaurant.
Loving all the new adventures!!!!!
